each month. The Town Board Meetings will remain @ 6:00pm.
The Town of Alexandria will be going to all the Water and Sewer Districts to Look at all the Meters to make sure all the meters are working and codes are accurate. Water Operator, Jamie Papin will be out checking meters during the day.
The Town of Alexandria will hold a Public Hearing on February 17th, 2016 @ 6:00pm for the request from Barton & Healy Realty LLC to extend the boundaries of the Route 12 Water District to include Town of Alexandria tax parcels 6.19-1-70.41, 6.19-1-70.42, and 6.19-1-72 encompassing approximately 9.56 acres, at no cost to the Town. See Resolution below.
RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN BOARD
OF THE TOWN OF ALEXANDRIA
At a regular meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Alexandria held at the Town offices, 46372 County Route 1, Alexandria Bay, New York, on January 13, 2016, at 6:00 p.m. there were:

WHEREAS, this Board has received a request from Barton & Healy Realty LLC to extend the boundaries of the Route 12 Water District to include Town of Alexandria tax parcels 6.19-1-70.41, 6.19-1-70.42, and 6.19-1-72 encompassing approximately 9.56 acres, at no cost to the Town, and
WHEREAS, a certain map plan and report for the proposed extension of the Route 12 Water District within the Town of Alexandria has been filed with the Town Clerk for the Town of Alexandria, and the property owners have committed to undertake the installation of the laterals and appurtenances to service his property at no cost to the Town and to the Town’s installation specifications.
NOW, on motion duly made and seconded, it is:
FOUND, ORDERED AND DETERMINED that the map plan and report for the proposed extension of the Route 12 Water District has been duly filed with the office of the Town Clerk as required by law and is available thereat for inspection, and it is
FOUND, ORDERED AND DETERMINED that the boundaries of the proposed extension of the Route 12 Water District shall be as appear on the map filed with the Town Clerk and shall encompass Town of Alexandria tax parcels #6.19-1-70.41, 6.19-1-70.42, and 6.19-1-72, and it is
FOUND, ORDERED AND DETERMINED that the improvements to be constructed include a lateral connection to transport water from the water main on Route 12 to the improved parcel within the extension area together with other interior service laterals and appurtenances, and it is
FOUND, ORDERED AND DETERMINED that the cost to construct the improvements to service the proposed extension of the Route 12 Water District shall be borne entirely by the owners of the parcels that encompasses the proposed extension to the Route 12 Water District, and it is
ORDERED that a public hearing be held on the 17th day of February, 2016, at 6:00 PM, at the Town Offices, 46372 County Route 1, Alexandria Bay, New York to hear all persons interested in the proposed extension of the Route 12 Water District, and it is further
ORDERED that the Town Clerk shall cause a copy of this Order to be published at least once in the official newspaper for the Town of Alexandria not less than 10 no more than 20 days before the date set for the hearing, and shall cause a copy hereof to be posted on the signboard of the Town of Alexandria maintained pursuant to the provisions of the Town Law not less than 10 no more than 20 days before the date designated for the hearing.

TOWN TAX NOTICE
TOWN OF ALEXANDRIA
Notice is hereby given that I, Jessica Hudon, Tax Collector of the Town of Alexandria, County of Jefferson, New York have received the tax assessment roll for the year 2016 and the warrant for collection of the same. That I will collect taxes at the Town Clerk’s office, 46372 Co. Rt.1, Alexandria Bay, New York between the hours of 9:00-11:00AM and 1:00-3:00PM, Monday-Friday, except holidays and weekends. When paying total amounts, no partial payment will be accepted. Checks for incorrect dollar amounts will be returned.
ALL postdated checks will be returned. Please return original bill when paying by mail. If a receipt is required, check the box. Only official post-office cancellation is acceptable proof of mailing date. If paying total amount and have not done so by March 15, 2016, delinquent bill will be sent to you.
Any person or corporation paying total amount of taxes within the next thirty days will not be charged fees of collection. One percent will be added during the month of February, and two percent will be charged until tax roll is returned to the CountyTreasurer. Installment payments of taxes will be charged an initial service fee of 3% of the total tax bill. If installment payments are not paid on time, penalties will apply. No third party checks will be accepted, and please make checks payable to the Town of Alexandria Tax Collector.
